How were you still able to get the smurf color? I though that it was cancelled for Germany too. Maybe you were part of the early batch that still allowed the Neptune to be ordered?
The factory produced them till end of November so they still will be delivered for some time in countries that had prioritized deliveries. It's just us in the east that are second class customers that Toyota does not care about.

I had to change the neptune blue too.

Ordered the car on March, 19th at the dealership.

So it also affected german costumers. I'm feeling with you and made my peace with the dark blue (which I still dont have any information on delivery date so far).

I am still in the process of accepting the dark blue color. It was supposed to be the first brand new car for me, and one of the perks of that is you get to choose the color freely. Ordered on February 24th and I also still have no production or delivery date. Just a verbal info that they should start making the cars from January for our market. Not even going to be the first new car anymore since I had to buy a van for the family now.

Envious but happy as well for you guys who could snatch the smurf ones. At least it's good to see the deliveries are finally coming in.

Contacted the importer for the first time like 6 months after placing my order. The car is still scheduled for delivery in April 2023, as originally promised. Not as exciting as you guys getting the cars right now, but it might not be a bad idea for me to learn how to handle my first RWD car on warm and grippy roads.
At least that's how I'm coping right now. 😁

So I hit 3500kms and had the oil changed.

I asked them for a sample of oil and to leave me the old filter as well.
So guys, does anyone know of a service in Europe that will analyse the oil similar to Blackstone in the U.S?
I would contact Oelcheck. They have great suppport and very good analyse.
- And Im not being paid by them :D

Nine months in, still no info. got into a bit of a fight with my dealer earlier this week because I sent them a not so nice email, setting them a delivery deadline of March 9 2023, exactly one year from ordering the car.

If the car has gone into production by then fine, I'll wait til April or so, but i need a car come spring. I've gotten rid of two cars by now and am currently without a car because of Toyota's delay....

My bet is that he wasn't fast enough during order wave 1 and order 2 hasn't started yet :(

order date is 09.03. but the order had to be updated on 11.03. because of the color code mixup in Toyotas ordering system. but still, 11.03. is only two days after order books opened.

nah it didn't close the same day. my friend ordered on 11.03. and is picking up his car in the upcoming days. order books were open for about two weeks or so if I'm not mistaken.

Are you sure he didn't get a slot blocked by the dealer?

I'm getting more and more pissed by toyota.

They messed up the order process of the GR Yaris as well.

Whats the purpose of a GR brand with all its marketing costs when they are not able to actually get the cars through the line?
Yup it's a bummer. But the EU market is dying and soon dead anyways for sports cars we like. In 2022 Toyota sold 11k GR86 in the USA. Add the BRZ to these numbers and you see where their priorities are. Getting a non hybrid N/A sports car on EU turf in the year 2023 is almost a wonder.
