I’ve been told by Subaru dealer, that it’s against EU trend - big brakes, more dust, less eco, big no no. They are not expecting any more add-ons to our cars, at least in Poland.
That's the classical "blame EU for everything" bullshit. In Spain they sell the 86 with the big brake kit installed in the circuit pack. So that's not an issue. Not to mention that it lacks basic logic that bigger brakes mean more dust. The importer just doesn't want to do it cause the couple sets of brakes they will sell are not worth it for them.

You could be right, given the poor sales of BRZ in our country, not worth the hassle ;)

Germany will receive a "final edition" of the Subaru BRZ - an unknown limited number out of another "approx. 300 cars" which are allocated to Germany for Spring / Summer.
  • gold OZ Ultraleggera rims
  • "sport exhaust" with "BRZ" engraved on the tips (my bet is for the Milltek which is available in Subaru's BRZ catalogue already
  • badges
  • specially tailored floor mats (any change would improve IMHO)
available in white, red, black, WR Blue, as well as silver only for MT

suggested retailk price 41,990€ MT, 44,990€ AT (plus price adder for non-red colours)

no "STI" / brembo / other brake upgrade, or other performance-oriented upgrades.

All that while the unchanged Subaru Germany website still tells the the unchanged April 2023 tale of the "strictly limited BRZ", kicking early adaptors who placed blind orders without chance for testdrives, for unfavoured colours at sticker price etc., in the plums...

Only benefit: More cars = better business case for aftermarket producers to develop parts including scrutiny for road legality in Germany...

good news! Seems very similar to the Touge edition in Italy. Please post the news here: https://www.gr86.org/threads/brz-in-europe-update.4400/page-17#post-190477
