Anyone have experience with these?

Not the Shift but I picked up a similar pair (Cruise) during their BF sale. Pretty good pedal feel and grip. The rounded heel is perfect. Doesn’t run as narrow as Speedcats. These are my second pair of Pilotis after trying out the now-discontinued Prototipos which I didn’t like.

Edit: the outsoles on my Cruise look thinner than those on the Shift. May affect pedal feel.

I don't have experience with those particular Pilotis, but I ran through a couple similar pairs back when I jumped on the bandwagon in the mid-00s. Great shoes and I loved the rolled heel. Can't go wrong.

These days I go with Adidas Daily -- much less expensive ($47 on Amazon for grey), excellent pedal feel, durable, and I can wear them all day at Disney marching around with the kids.

They do come in green too -- I have a set 🤙.

I've owned them before, I think I got a size too big. Only complaint is if you step in gum or dog droppings it is nearly impossible to clean them out because of the way the tread is designed. I currently have the iconas which I really like.

My suggestion would be to stick to the black colors as the grey got really dirty after a small amount of use, suede shoes with colors are always a nightmare to keep clean.

If you just want good pedal feel, the adidas daily linked above gets you 90% there compared to piloti. I got the adidas on sale for $30. I got a pair of the Piloti cruise on sale (thanks to Throttle House marketing 🤣) for >$100, forgot the exact amount. They are nice to drive in, not so great to walk around in. I'll echo what many reviews have said about Pilotis - they are good to great as a driving shoe, just expensive for what you're getting

Had a pair of Pilotis like 15 years ago that I got from Ross actually. I wasn't able to do a whole lot of real driving back then but I do remember them being pretty stiff but not uncomfortable. I've been thinking about getting another pair for trackdays, but then may be changing my mind in favor of just getting a pair of OMP racing shoes or something instead.
