To people who had trouble with their Homelink system, turns out there was a service bulletin issued by Subaru of America back in January 2022 stating that any mirror produced before June 30, 2021 may come with the wrong wire and in that case the unit should be replaced with mirror produced after June 30, 2021. Subaru Canada knows nothing about it until I brought it up to them so they will look at mine this Friday again and if the wire is the wrong one, I just need to get the correct one to solve the problem. I've attached the service bulletin for everyone's reference.

Very interesting. My Toyota dimming mirror part (no compass) came with a harness that has the same first 3 numbers for the part number, and is rev AAA but made in August of 2021. I have no issues using it with Homelink.

Thanks for this video, I just installed mine yesterday.

There is enough room to route the wire through the mount for a bit cleaner look. No issues setting up Homelink.

My mirror appears to be hardwire only (no battery) as the button only works in ACC or ON.

Thanks, I did it this way , there is 3 nuts that needed to be loosened to drop down the eyesight system, on my car, I could not go directly through the eyesight in the center, as when it tightened back up , the middle does not have cable clearance. The routing to one side of the loosened eyesight system seems to be what reduces the amount of slack cable left over.
I know this is an old post but I just installed this mirror yesterday on my 24 MT with eyesight. You do not need to loosen the bolts holding the eyesight cameras. The factory instructions say to route the wire around the right camera and over the tab. Although the tab looks like it has a screw through it, it doesn't go all the way up. Routing the wire over the tab to the right of the right sidd camera allows you to pull it through the small gap without having to loosen any of the nuts. Worked perfectly. Note that you also have to remove the pink tape holding the harness behind the console opening. You get about 3" of slack doing this.

I realize this is an older post, but I’d recommend rerouting your power cable. The way you have it, there’s a decent chance of eventually shorting out the wires from it being smooshed under the mirror mount.

Should be run like this.

Small refresh, maybe someone will benefit from this information.

It appears that EU vehicles (2x in Poland confirmed) doesn't even have the plug for homelink mirror. I was looking to use the connector to power the other stuff but failed.

We have "small" differences across other countries (like US).

I’ve got an “international” version of my Homelink mirror kit coming out soon that tees off the connector on the backside of the cigarette lighter to power the mirror. The 3 pin mirror connector is only present in US and Canadian twins since those are the only places it’s offered as a dealer addon.

Not so useful if you’re just looking to power something else though.
