You like them? Honestly don't know how I feel about these lol
For some reason it's a common thing in the Mini community.Needs eyelashes too.
…and maybe a cigarette…in a long cigarette holder…and some lipstick.
Actually I took another look. Red are definitely thinner. As far as blocking the light, white ones look like they would. The ones on the bRed are just useless aesthetics. The ones on the white car at the top of the tread are the biggest issue. Dangerous and ugly.
I have similar concerns about putting dark tints on lenses…and windscreens! which I’m surprised is legal anywhere.Fine. Modifications like this are more than ugly: They're blatantly dangerous. They interfere with federally regulated lighting systems, both reducing the visibility of the vehicle to to other drivers (and pedestrians) on the road, and reducing the driver's ability to see in low visibility situations. This trend puts everyone on the road at a greater risk than is necessary. If I see a car with any sort of eyelid not installed from the factory, I assume the owner is either a moronic trend-following puppet or intentionally malicious.

These do look better, and they don't seem like they would block much light if any. Those are super large eyelids, there is another brand that doesn't look too bad.
Found the video.. These are kind of subtle and I think look better, but I personally wouldn't run any eyelids.
I looked into the ones on the video, Noblesse brand. Nengun, another aftermarket place has them for a few cars, all cars in Japan. prices around $190.00. Sent them a email asking for info on the ones for the GR. See what happens. There website states 30-45 days before shipping after confirmation of payment. These do look better, and they don't seem like they would block much light if any.
I can't read Japanese though, are these available anywhere or am I going to have to fabricate my own?
I found a link for the other ones on the white car but not these.
Reached out to Japanparts about the eyelids. Here’s a link to purchaseThose are super large eyelids, there is another brand that doesn't look too bad.

I'd love to hear how covering ~50% of the headlight won't block any light, ESPECIALLY high beams.Responding to a very old thread, but everyone is just plain wrong. These eyelids (that OP posted, the white ones), do NOT block any light output..
I'm somewhat with Feral on this. The top part of the headlight doesn't emit any light... Which is a common complaint here because the design makes it seem like the DRL should at least run all the way up top.I'd love to hear how covering ~50% of the headlight won't block any light, ESPECIALLY high beams.
People who have installed these have confirmed it does not block any lights. Nobody would be using these if they actually blocked any lightI'd love to hear how covering ~50% of the headlight won't block any light, ESPECIALLY high beams.
