Fine. Modifications like this are more than ugly: They're blatantly dangerous. They interfere with federally regulated lighting systems, both reducing the visibility of the vehicle to to other drivers (and pedestrians) on the road, and reducing the driver's ability to see in low visibility situations. This trend puts everyone on the road at a greater risk than is necessary. If I see a car with any sort of eyelid not installed from the factory, I assume the owner is either a moronic trend-following puppet or intentionally malicious.
I have similar concerns about putting dark tints on lenses…and windscreens! which I’m surprised is legal anywhere.

Those are super large eyelids, there is another brand that doesn't look too bad.

Found the video.. These are kind of subtle and I think look better, but I personally wouldn't run any eyelids.

These do look better, and they don't seem like they would block much light if any.
I can't read Japanese though, are these available anywhere or am I going to have to fabricate my own?
I found a link for the other ones on the white car but not these.

I looked into the ones on the video, Noblesse brand. Nengun, another aftermarket place has them for a few cars, all cars in Japan. prices around $190.00. Sent them a email asking for info on the ones for the GR. See what happens. There website states 30-45 days before shipping after confirmation of payment.

I'd love to hear how covering ~50% of the headlight won't block any light, ESPECIALLY high beams.
I'm somewhat with Feral on this. The top part of the headlight doesn't emit any light... Which is a common complaint here because the design makes it seem like the DRL should at least run all the way up top.

The headlights aren't as obstructed as they seem from above. If you get to eye-level with them, the bulbs aren't going to be really covered at all.

And this isn't me saying that we should all get these eyelids lmao.

Though these are really big in Japan. I see it all over IG
