@couto
Dealer from Gdańsk called me 2 weeks ago, asking if I’m still on the market for a new car. Recently I’ve meet a BRZ owner again, and he said that in Wroclaw there is a new batch available and it seems, couple new cars are available at otomoto.pl, including dealer from whom I bought the car and half year ago, he said they were able to allocate only 2 cars which they already sold.

Seems like Poland just received a batch of new cars.

How it’s looking in other countries? Any news from dealers?
similar in the CZ. Last MY23 cars should arrive shortly after the new year. Apparently the MY23 is coming to an end, there are also news that people in Japan and US can make orders for the MY24 with first deliveries in February 24.

Currently there are over 20 online listings for the new BRZ in CZ. Seems that all paints and transmission combos are available. I have only heard that the STI aero pack is not available any time soon.

There was a magnetite grey (P8Y) BRZ for sale in Czechia. I believe this and the sapphire blue paints weren’t supposed to be be avilable in Europe?

Is this some kind of unicorn or Subaru started to import these? It honestly looks great with the anthracite wheels.

I talked to two Subaru sales people and there are 3 magnetite grey and 4 sapphire blue BRZs in Czechia. Both paints were not supposed to be available in the whole Europe.

Now why is that? These cars were originally manufactured for Israel, however due to the situation there they got imported to the EU! What a story!

Double post Upon request of realpatrik (don't shoot me):

Germany will receive a "final edition" of the Subaru BRZ - an unknown limited number out of another "approx. 300 cars" which are allocated to Germany for Spring / Summer.
  • gold OZ Ultraleggera rims
  • "sport exhaust" with "BRZ" engraved on the tips (my bet is for the Milltek which is available in Subaru's BRZ catalogue already
  • badges
  • specially tailored floor mats (any change would improve IMHO)
available in white, red, black, WR Blue, as well as silver only for MT

suggested retailk price 41,990€ MT, 44,990€ AT (plus price adder for non-red colours)

no "STI" / brembo / other brake upgrade, or other performance-oriented upgrades.

All that while the unchanged Subaru Germany website still tells the the unchanged April 2023 tale of the "strictly limited BRZ", kicking early adaptors who placed blind orders without chance for testdrives, for unfavoured colours at sticker price etc., in the plums...

Only benefit: More cars = better business case for aftermarket producers to develop parts including scrutiny for road legality in Germany...

@Runeflinger how do you know it's Milltek? I see it looks like so, but I didn't find anything but this:
I do NOT know for which reason I intentionally placed a BET ONLY. I doubt that Subaru Germay either invested in an added homologation of another exhaust than they already offer, for the German market, OR are prepared to present papers to BRZ customers that list an aftermarket exhaust as subsequently installed (i.e. not from the factory).

And that instead they only changed the tip of hte Milltek for this edition, which may require less or none efforts.

But I can be wrong, of course...

Oh, does it mean that the Militek exhaust is currently offered as an alternative?

TBH I'm not interested in the final edition exhaust but the fact that you have an alternative in the German market right now. Subaru Importer in Poland told me that changing the exhaust voids the warranty here in Poland (to an aftermarket one, obviously). So, the fact that there is an alternative in the EU market that is approved by Subaru, may be some kind of workaround for me (at least I will try to take advantage of it).

it honestly doesn’t matter much, as the legislation doesn’t give much room to play with. All the aftermarket legal option sound pretty much the same.

I would bet on Milltek too, Milltek is already supplying official Subaru dealers in Czechia so they seem to have the capacity to meet the demand.

Yes, Subaru has in their options catalogue for the regular BRZ a sports exhaust which is from Milltek - hence my educated guess. And it being in the Subaru options catalogued should mean it cannot void the warranty.

19" inch wheels as an option? What the heck? You would have to drop to 35 or even 30 tyre profile :O
My guess is these are detrimental to the handling but hey - that's what Subaru Germany considers people want on that car shrugs

...like spoiler lips for 700+ Euro / 800 USD, a diffusor in silver for over a grand US, and a shift knob for 350 US that in the US has a RRP of 200 (and is available in the US with discounts).

In fairness: the front splitter and side skirts do look nice, though, the aero parts are said to be functional and Subaru has to invest to get an expert opinion to have these parts road legal in Gemany, costs which they can spread over a rather limited number of items...

Strangely for optional parts Subaru's pricing is quite steep, whereas for reagular spare parts Toyota seems typically waaay more expensive...

The final edition and the mentioned bonus features are now confirmed.

This also means that the 300 BRZ that are entering the German market right now will be the last ones.

I've also asked my dealership what happens to cars not sold by July 4th (when GSR2 regulations hit). Subaru has negotiated a one year grace period during which the BRZ can still be sold and registered, so the true deadline is July 2025. It's just that no new BRZ will hit the German market anymore.
