Guys I ordered like March 23 and my dealer in Dortmund told me that the car will arrive November 29th at the dealership. However, he claims not to have a complete FIN yet. Does that mean the car is inbound for production and if so, which ship could it be on?

The EU spec car doesn't have the filter. It is a US emission thing.

- Keep my 18 inch rims on winter tires and buy a new kit for the summer ?

- Buy a kit for the winter (17 or 18 inches) and keep my 18 inch rims for the summer ?

I don't really want to change size or put wider rims. This apparently imposes a lowering.

Have you already made a choice?

Yes, since I will receive my GR86 End of November, I will just put Hankook Winter Tyres on the existing 18 inch black alloys. I've bought winter rims for other cars in the past and it has almost never paid out.

I went for winter wheels. It's harder to find 18 inch winter tires for our size than to find 17 inch tires. And a bit more sidewall is welcome in winter.
No need for lowering for a bit wider tire btw, unless you go 9 wide with a 245 and change ET values by a lot. But in winter you don't want wider tires anyway especially if you get a lot of snow.

i'll buy winter tires and make the oem 18 inch wheels to my winter wheels.
Next summer fresh nice summer wheels. And i will put the summer tires on them. 18x8 or 18x8.5 square setup

Why do you guys want "fresh nice summer wheels" then? Do you think the rims will not make it through winter?

Never had issues with this procedure with my former Audi RS-Models.

I'm afraid for the rims with all the changes. I'm not sure it's good also for the tires.

It's certainly more expensive to get 2 complete kits but I prefer this option. The question is do I use my stock 18" rims in summer or in winter.

I swap my tires on the one set of factory rims.
