Even the base tires might as well be performance summers for the grip they have and, if you look at the tread, you can see there's very little space to hook onto and hold snow. I have a lot of experience on snow and I wouldn't recommend driving in winter weather without more appropriate tires. My old Camry just has whatever decent Continental all seasons were thrown on by the previous owner—still not real winter tires—and it might as well be a rally car on studs in comparison.

Is Neptune Blue actually this dark of a blue in real life? I really didn't like it so far because on most pictures/videos that I've seen it looks more pale (like the Hyundai Performance Blue from the Veloster or Yas Marina Blue from BMW).
On yours the color looks much more saturated and more like shark blue from Porsche/Cornflower blue from VW.
How would you compare it to those other colors provided you know any of them?

Tire rack, 8 or better snow rating for an all season is my recommended choice. Or something with the 3mtn snowflake Canadian symbol.

I had used super cheap generic snow tires on my gen 1 and it did fine but yeah the prius tires were terrible, not even good in the rain if I'm honest.

yes it is a lot deeper than pictures on the internet show, the pictures in the day are in direct sunlight so that’s the true color of the vehicle. no filters or anything. the color is very similar to the porsche blue and is not pale at all in person.
