Decided to start posting my build to keep track of the things I've done to the car. I initially got onto this platform when I purchased the 2013 BRZ. I was a bit excited as I had been finally making enough money to be able to splurge on parts for my car so I ended up getting the AVO turbo kit and AVO turbo back exhaust for it back then. It ended up being a huge headache for me because my car had the issue where it would just turn off while I was driving and go into limp mode. I had an EcuTek for it and a tune done as well, but it seemed like a lot of people on the forums back then were also experiencing this same issue. I had gone back and forth with the dealership a bunch of times and also having to take the aftermarket parts off and restoring it back to stock to bring to the dealer, but the dealership kept trying to blame me for the issues the car was having even though it seemed like they were replacing random parts without any success in fixing the issue. In the end I had to turn to SOA and my car turned out to be a lemon so they helped replace it and I ended up getting a 2015 Series Blue BRZ. The nightmare of dealing with the dealership and the car turning out the be a lemon made me not want to do anything to my car for a while. My AVO turbo kit and exhaust is still sitting in my garage to this day 😅 I gotta post it up to sell. I had my 2015 BRZ for a while until Oct 2021 where a Tesla crashed into it in a parking lot while I was inside a Starbucks doing work. I was really sad seeing the back of my car crushed and pushed out into the middle of the parking lot when I went outside. My car was totaled and trying to find a replacement was difficult the past year due to a lot of dealers charging markups. I finally was able to get my allocation for a 2023 BRZ at MSRP in Oct 2022.
