Not a bad idea. I plan on 5k oil changes on this car as well. I plan on just synching it up with the odometer. 5...10...15...20k etc.

 

That's a good plan too.

Personally I've always used Trip A for daily miles and Trip B for total miles on a trip.

I only use trip A for mileage on each tank.

 

I guess this means the car doesn’t have an oil change reminder?

 

i havent seen an oil life reminder anywhere in the menus. I think the toyota care / app will remind you when your odometer comes up on big service milestones.

 

Great idea, I was looking at it the other day like 'wtf would I ever use you for' 😅

 

The oil change reminder is in the center screen. Really easy to find.

If you have the remote services, it'll also remind you in the app.

I use the 2nd trip for TSD rally distances.

Only played with it a little but I don't see trip a or b just fuel mileage, not labeled and can't cycle

 

It’s a dedicated button on the dash located to the left of the steering column. It toggles through Trip A, Trip B, and Odometer.
