Good news!

I just received a call from a local Subaru dealer in Czechia, that the BRZ ZD8 will very very likely come to Europe. They are finishing marketing materials and everything looks very promising supposedly. The estimated price is 41k EUR for the MT and 43k EUR for the AT. Pricing based on the current exchange rate and including 21% VAT.

I believe the member here Focuspoke already mentioned the same for another EU country?

I received another call from another dealer, confirming the same thing as I said in the Original post. There is 90% chance the new BRZ will come to Czechia according to the salesperson. They expect to have official pricing in January. The speculated price is 43k EUR - 45k EUR including local 21% VAT.

I would say Czechia cannot be the only country importing the BRZ, the market here is small and there must be a larger international importer for Subaru. Considering the GR86:BRZ ratio is 3:1 in the rest of the world, I would say it will be more limited. But that is just my speculation.

Hi!

Yeah, it is coming. To be honest according to my dealer my BRZ is already shipped to europe. Expected arrival might be this year.
As far I know this year 2 cars was sold in Hungary here, around 3-5 in 2023 and thats it. 20-30 for German market, a couple for here and there. Info was coming from Emil Frey salesman. If you guys have the chance to grab one I would highly suggest. Since subaru makes theese cars and they build on order, means if you put an order then you get one. No delays, no color changes, no random bullsh*t..
To be honest I am still a bit nervous about servicing, even more if they need anything to touch on the engine, but have more faith in a seasoned subaru technician than anyone on toyota side. The scarcity of this car might mean that only couple specialst will be recommended to deal with.

It's definitely coming to Switzerland as well.

Hello there!

I've spoken to couple dealers here in Spain and they didn't have much to say, two of them outright told me they know nothing and one of them did seem to know more and I gave them my contact details, they told me they would call when they have confirmation about it arriving here too.

My impression was that if it's also coming to Spain not many know about it right now in Subaru.

I was able to order BRZ 2023 from a Polish Subaru dealer. No official info yet.

I read the rumor about BRZ selling in Europe, so I went to one and asked if this is true. They said that indeed it's true and they are about to order 2 or 3 cars. This was 2 weeks ago. Today I signed the agreement. I was told that the car should be in Poland in May 2023.

I was pretty lucky, I managed to get the info right when it appeared and the order was made during augustus, production was in october. I asked too how many cars will be available, if remember correctly one more is shipping here already and 5 more was told to be available by subaru, but they do not yet accept the orders for them. Its for Hungary, do not know what about other countries.

this must be dealer cars then... similar to the early GR86s... Regular customers order will come later I suppose

There are already some cars in Switzerland, but this is the first one I see in the EU. @focuspoke, did the dealer mention where from are these shipped? Is it from Nagoya like Toyota? Are they dropped at Zeebrugge or somewhere else?

I think it cant be said for certainty. EU legislation rules will change from next year, which affects new cars (something with safety redtrictions). But in 2023 they still plan to take orders. I would suggest grab any possibility either GR or BRZ to get one. Individual used import will still be an option later, but thats another story..

Maybe they are trying to top Toyota in communication/distribution?🤣
I can't imagine having a car on the lot and not being able to price or sell it as a dealer.
And I don't get why Subaru acts differently in every country of Europe. In one country dealers take orders without known price in other countries you can officially buy the car. Somewhere else there are cars on the lot but you can't buy them and in most countries they just can't tell you anything 😶
