Well, it maaaaay be a performance mod since that trunk gap could catch air flowing back (but I doubt it)

Does the GR badge look like something that could be removed ? I plan to put this on my BRZ but don't want the GR Badge to look odd on it.

 

The logo looks like it’s thin, maybe adhesive backed so could take it off. But it’s in a recessed area. I would just get a piece of gloss black vinyl from sign shop, cut to size and just cover it.

 

I just finished installing mine tonight. It really looks and fits extremely well. Very pleased with the Aero Stabilizer. Instructions are in Japanese but it's a pretty straight forward install.

 

I didn't care for these at the start but people kept showing them and it really grows on you and looks really good. Got mine awhile ago but still waiting to get the actual car lol

 

Mine has been stuck in customs for over a week. Been there since the 14th.

 

Mine was stuck but for a incomplete address? Luckily saw it on the tracking and had the address updated.

 

I will get one for my car too. I don't care if it helps in any way with whatever. I just like how it looks 😊

I got mine, but the weather here has been around 32 F lately. I'm worried the tape won't stick securely onto the windscreen. I've read on other forums that for 3M taped trunk spoilers, they should be applied when the temperature is at least 75 F unless you have a heat gun. I don't know if the same principle applies to glass.

And no, I don't have a heated garage. None of my friends do either. Should I just wait for spring to come😩

 

I didn’t install mine in winter but it definitely wasn’t 75 degrees. More like 60. It’s still on there pretty good

 

Mine has been installed since last March and it still looks like brand new. Very good quality.

 

Reviving this thread, does anyone notice that on their Aero stabilizer that there is a small gap between the lip of the stabilizer and the glass itself? or are your guys' completely flush.

I had to remove mine and repress it down. Noticing a small gap consistently across the piece where you can see the adhesive between the glass and the piece itself. Pretty annoying.

Just checked and there is a small gap, only thing that ever get caught in there are these small leaves at my sisters house but nothing to bad lol

 

Yours looks a bit bigger than my gap

 

are you able to see any adhesive like my photo if you put light on it? it's something that's really hard to see using camera flash, but very obvious in person

It's dark out now but I'll take a closer look at mine tomorrow. I was doing the overlay for the third brake light today though and didn't notice a gap, of course I wasn't actually looking too hard though

Probably not the best pic but here you go. Mine is flat against the glass across the whole thing. Your issue might have something to do from when you had to pull it off and reinstall.

 

I bought a knock off aero stabilizer off of ebay for only $80. The fit was fine but it was slightly swirled. 2 months after it was installed, the 2 sided tape started to come apart from the plastic stabilizer. It stuck fine to the window as I used adhesion promoter. The 2 sided tape was already on the stabilizer when I received it and apparently they didn't install it correctly or just used cheap non3m tape.

Now that I have removed the stabilizer from the car, I'm debating on scraping off the rest of the tape from the plastic and using my own 3m tape to give it another go. The tape still isn't completely off the window yet either. I would have rather that it came without the cheap tape and a flat surface that would allow me to use my own 3m tape! UGH!
