All, I'm about a month out from receiving my car, but will transplant my Uniden R7 and ALP laser jammer setup to the GR86. Anyone have pictures with an RD mounted beneath the rear view mirror?

Joking aside, I have countermeasures in my current BMW and they're more trouble than it's really worth, so I won't be putting them in my new car.

I'm sure you could make a blend-mounted R7 work in the GR. I will be moving my R7 to my GR, though I don't have jammers.

I think so too. The ALP laser jammer heads look like they'll fit nicely in the GR86's grill. If I have to update heads (smaller form factor) so be it.

Do you just have an RD, or do you employ jamming capability? I'd almost rather drive w/o a seatbelt than w/o a good radar detector......almost.

Will hardwire V1 G2 in my car, just like my FRS. Up tight near ceiling on passenger side. Wired to hidden 12 volt socket behind glove box. Will also add a camera.
