What did you do to your BRZ today?

I pulled the trigger on a car phone holder today. It was $39.00 at Best Buy. I have researched them for a while and came up with this one. I think it looks clean and is out of the way. Here are some pics of the installation. I inserted a little black plastic piece from an old wire bracket to hold the trim apart for the phone cable. The cable is not pinched and can slide freely. See the last pic to see the piece I cut out and the bracket it came from.

I am adding some more photos to show how I got the phone cable routed up to the dash.
I ran the phone cable from the center console cupholders to inside the dash.
The first image shows the cable plugged into the console's USB box. You can pry the black cover off the USB box to install it back into the cupholder area.
The next few images show the cable running back through the center console making its way out to the phone holder.

Nah, I just ran the wire along the roofline, down the A pillar, through the fake engine noise compartment, finally to the glovebox 12V. Yeah I agree, I like having it and capturing occasional fun drives.

I don't currently have my OBD2 plugged in normally it will show data. You can change the face and data you want displayed.
Can you elaborate on the whole setup?

Is it just the Performance Monitor 0.88B APK? Ignore all the stuff that makes out like it's just for VAG vehicles?

nice work here. I really would like to get some but like you said, the market doesn’t have much to offer for splash guards. I hope some come out that are easy to install and don’t look lame!
Finished front easy part after dinner. Tomorrow do rear, which will involve axle nuts and ebrake. Sunday brake fluid flush.

Never thought I'd be excited about a spare wheel and tire, yet here we find ourselves.

Went with a 145/80/17 `18-`21 Crosstrek spare and it fits just fine. Figured it would pair with my 18s better than the 16" BRZ/FRS/86 spares. Locks in with a FRS retaining bolt. Decided not to find a foam spacer so I could have storage for my air pump and battery jumper. Wheel/tire was $80 and the bolt was $10 on ebay.

Nice solution.......
Just 4 information: afaik you need different bolts for aluminum and steel rims.
Half day to do the rear part.
PP dust shields work like a champ.
Afternoon will install brake lines and brake fluid flush. The job is easier then I thought.

Unplugged the electronic Intake. Took off an reinstalled the Glove box drawer. Initially I liked the Electronic Intake noise because it substituted for no exhaust sound. However after a year of ownership I've determined that the Electronic Intake really amplify s the engine roughness at higher RPM. Had trouble initially getting the plug out of the silver receptical so I took off the glove box and box dampener.
Had trouble getting the drawer back in but now its fits better and is less buzzy. I like the fact that the engine seems to be more freer revving than before. However, it is simplu TOO QUIET. I do perceive it to be freer revving. However, It is way too quiet now. I ordered an MRT Axel Back Touring Exhaust.

This will sound weird, but give it a few days for you to adjust to the new sound.

A few days without it and suddenly it's not nearly as quiet as you first thought.

Been a while but I did have some updates:
1. Changed out the Blue LED for Red LED foot well illumination
2. Installed Pedal Commander - Yes, it makes a difference since I don't plan on doing any bolt-ons.
3. Got the power folding mirrors but waiting on cables and electrical to be resolved.
4. OEM Audio Plus Sub and Door speaker installation once instructions are released.
5. Silky Suede Wrap Sticker Decal Sheet to refreshen up the door panels and interior trim
6. Suma Performance mirrors hooked up to the turn signals.
7. Got a temper glass for the radio
8. Got some additional STI stuff for engine bay and start button.
