The back looks pretty dark from behind, I was on the fence about 15% or 20% tint. I picked 20% to be a bit on the safer side, but it's still dark enough imo.

I had the dealer put 28% on my back window (South Carolina legal limit)

So far it's been great. It is noticeably the darkest tint on the car, but no problems so far even at night. Between the dimming rear view mirror and the dark back window, driving at night is a joy. Even on the interstate.

Installed HKS Legamax exhaust. Disabled fake sounds. Fake sounds isn't necessarily bad, but real engine and exhaust sound is so much better.

No wishes here. Exactly what I wanted.

It is a few decibels louder than stock overall, but has deeper sound at lower RPMs. Not sure what people are expecting TBH. HKS posted the unit’s decibel readings in their marketing literature.

Thanks! Heads up for anyone wanting to install this one… the templates are pretty good. Not quite exact, but close enough for it to work and be straight. There are 4 holes the kit requires you to drill with a step bit that are 5/8 I believe. The very bottom two work with a step bit. DO NOT try to do the top 2 with it! It will go through your trunk! The IIR video is not clear on this part (how to do it) only the size. I had to drill a 1/2” hole and then bore out the sides. I fit a slim deep socket and bent the hole sides down in sections to get it big enough to fit the hardware in. And whatever you do, BE CAREFUL when drilling. The trunk lid is super flimsy and if you drill too far through the bracing, it WILL dent your trunk lid from the bottom!

Well - I didnt do anything quite yet with the car but she's coming out of hibernation in a week or two so I went ahead and ordered a full set of fluids and grabbed a few factory oil filters from the local Subie dealer. Here is what I got/ordered for fluids:

1. Valvoline Full Synthetic 5w20 oil
2. Red Line MT-LV 70w-75w transmission/gear oil for the tranny
3. Red Line 75w85 gear oil for the diff.

Made an appt at my long time favorite shop to do the fluid changes. I just did the oil at about 1,000(after break-in change) miles but let the dealer do it. I have about 4K on the car now and decided to just do all the fluids. Then, 5K mile changes for oil from here on out. Cant wait to get the car out! Finally.....
