Is the GR air filter a performance thing or a visual thing?

There was a Toyota GR power point presentation video awhile ago that said it was a performance part..... but little performance data is out yet and little to no dyno data. If its anything like the last drop in air filter it will add maybe 3-5 hp

don't know yet, just installed it this morning and haven't gone anywhere today.

Part number confirmed for mud guards. Drilling will be required (shocker) lol no instructions included but I’ve done plenty on my other cars so should be straight forward install.

Mine will be here in a week. looks like the same mounting hardware like the last gen

Awesome, I can't wait for your next post. Mine are still in progress.

Since the last update, I've called the dealer again, and confirmed with the "parts specialist" that it is indeed for a GR86. Again, we will see.

Does anyone have info on a good quality car cover? I believe the BRZ has one as an accessory option but I guess the 86 does not.
