If I died.

But in all seriousness, I just don't see another 2+2, RWD, sub-3,000lb manual transmission vehicle being made. I've had Porsches (still have my 2018 6MT Base Cayman if anyone want to buy it!), Corvettes, M5s, CTS-V, etc., and I've realized that I am firmly in the "slow car fast" camp. Sure, the high horsepower cars were fun on the track (and EXTREMELY frustrating on the road as you can't tap into even 20% of their capabilities), but I've never had as much fun as I did in an E30 318i manual on track.

I thought about an older Lotus, like an early Evora (the newer ones are way too fast to be considered in the "slow car fast" category), but I really wanted a brand new vehicle as I'm going to try to hold onto it as long as possible due to said lack of equivalent cars being built in the future. Plus, I didn't want an old Lots Of Trouble, Usually Serious.

If I ever sold my GR86 it would be for money related reasons but this car is cheap enough so that shouldnt be a problem. It's not like its a 100k sports car.

If we needed a bigger car, we would get a bigger car even if it was used.

Lots of reasons
1. Garage queen with low miles and may fetch a good price
2. Want to Upgrade/Downgrade to something else (zupra, corolla etc)
3. More space needed eg. back seat
4. I have too much toy cars
5. I need the money.. eg. I over extended and now have kids
6. Wife doesn't like it
7. Insurance costs are high
8. I hate to drive a sports car in the snow that's RWD
9. I lost my job
10. RTV

It's just a car one would think there's lots of "prtty forward looking" reasons that aren't stupid.
I bet the road noise is a significant factor.
