I'd be interested to hear why they went with that shape. It does look a bit odd now that you've pointed it out.

Oh that's good hahaha. Someone needs to make a sticker of a onigiri that goes over the cap 🤣.

it's quite simple really. the fuel door in the gr 86 is just closer to the lamp and bumper so its lines are going along with their lines. if it was oval then the surface around it would look squished and the fuel door itself would be more visible. the fuel door in the gt86 had more space around it so the oval shape didn't feel like being out of touch with the rest of the lines

Yes. I am hoping I'll adjust to it, though since I've purchased my BRZ I'm slightly less poor and just as fiscally irresponsible so I'm hoping Seibon comes out with some real slick stuff that I can replace the OEM stuff with something sharp.

Are you looking to change the lights? Or the rear bumper/body kit?
