He pretty much said what i've been saying over the past two months or so lol. I think we were all hoping for a turbo (I'm still hoping possibly for a higher priced option alongside the NA) but with the supra 2.0 I think it will just stay NA as it would step on the toes of the supra.

My opinion-NO TURBO. An 86/BRZ is not a big profit generator for Toyota or Subaru. They want to stay in the same price range. That means existing platform, NA 2.4 engine from Accent. It should be quicker as more torque and HP and roughly same weight. Probably they eliminated the "Torque dip" . Now that there is a 4 cylinder Supra no toe stepping allowed.
