With an official list of 2022+ Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR 86 dealerships that will not charge ADM (Additional Dealer Markup) over MSRP, because some already require we pay $2,000 extra, it will be much easier to avoid them. Or at least pay far less.

Add dealers to this thread that either do not charge ADM or require you pay very little.

I don’t know, but they don’t ask over MSRP and are easy to deal with

Not yet, since there is no on-sale date or pricing. I signed up for updates on Toyota’s website, and have gotten exactly one email, which was the press announcement for the car.

I live in the area so I'll definitely go with them if I decide on the BRZ.

I need to see if any Toyota dealerships will do something similar. Might have to wait until October when we can officially order them though.

I gave them a call just now, what did they tell you MSRP? They said they would get back to me about pricing, Ik productions begins this month and we should get pricing by the end of this month or first week of September.

When I went in to put a deposit down, the saleman basically asked if I was financing and if I was trading a vehicle in, then said something like "well we don't know the price yet, but the price of the vehicle will be MSRP, pretty straightforward."

I’ve read that you should never answer those questions until your purchase deal is done. Also, you’d do better to have your own financing in place. Although, I’m sure you know that.

McGeorge Toyota of the Richmond area in Henrico Virginia either sell MSRP or $500 off. Great thread Apex, I hope more people chime in!

Sierra Subaru in Los Angeles CA is charging $2100 extra on the BRZ, ofcourse they didn’t say it’s a markup, 600 goes to some grid guard for your door and 1600 for 5 year car cleaning service which both are BS because they are mandatory

Factor in all the other small charge I could get a Supra from Toyota for 6k more based on their offer lmao

Its not a “markup”, its a “market adjustment,” is what dealers were adding to Supras here in San Diego. Its stll BS
