I’m sure most would rather drill a hole in their stock housing, but since I was placing an order for parts from Japan anyway, I grabbed one of these as well. Also got the associated harnesses for it. Don’t know how much good they’ll do me, but it wasn’t very expensive. Guess we’ll see soon.

Ok, I’ll bite. How will you power these? More specifically, where will you place a switch?

I'll answer, you tap the brake light. Will have to pull the light assembly off the car but it looked pretty easy. No switch needed.

I'll probably solder as I dislike using wire taps. Military splice.

Isn’t just a 4th brake light, then? Rear fog lights are primarily a thing in the EU market, however I did have them on our 2003 Mini Cooper S.
