I found these photos while scrolling through instagram and we might have our first photos of the GR86.

What does everyone else think, is this the real deal?

No, that's the current model. Just the GRMN edition Japan only.

Yea.
Although I can't say I've seen the single exhaust like that before. And I DO NOT like it.

The fish-eye lense on that rear shot almost makes it look like a different model, but from the front it's obviously just the current car.

That single exhaust is really weird. I don't understand why they would do that and not make it a dual exhaust. If this was real I'd be so upset that they didn't change the styling haha.

Its really ugly. I don't like those black things above the fenders. Yeah, I agree the single exhaust is weird, but Toyota is using is on the GR Supra 2.0

Hmm I agree with you all on the single exhaust it doesnt look good at all with the car, especially with those lights on either side it just looks tacky and busy.
Interesting everything I have seen on the Supra 2.0 shows it having dual exhaust like the 3.0

I’m not 100% convinced this is the new GR86, considering the factories are closed during the pandemic. It won’t be available until Summer 2021.
