Was the pedal drop sudden and you had to pump it to stop, or did you have a longer pedal but still slowed? Fluid boiling tends to be more sudden and pucker inducing. Pad fade will typically be more gradual. Just trying to help you figure out what the weak point was.

Pedal got longer. Never really just suddenly dropped to the floor. But once we bleed the brakes the following day, the brake system got better. Only a slight sink at the end of the day.

I'm thinking about going to a Piedmont Drift event in January, just for the hell of it. It's only $60. Definitely wouldn't be doing anything crazy. Just improving my sideways skills in a safe environment.

Aight, updates found out that my front carbotech pads are pretty much toasted after the previous 2 days. It has about 30% pads life left, so I figured I might as well pull the trigger on getting ferodo's ds1.11 and see what's the fuss is about.

Big shout out to KNS working with me to get them pads in with 1 day shipping.

Currently the car is sitting with some Endless RF 650 brake fluid + these ferodos that comes in tomorrow.

My DEs are on saturday and sunday. Since it will rain in the carolina tomorrow I can't really bed the pads in, on street during late night.

Does anyone have a procedure to bed in the pads on track / maybe some street near the track?
