I'm about 5'10. I was sitting in my car with a helmet on and I felt like I didn't have much head room at all even with the seat adjustment all the way down. I fit better if I push my seat back a little further but it's not great. I prefer a closer to the wheel position. I couldn't imagine if I was 6 foot plus how I would be able to fit in the car with a helmet.

I am 6'6 and track the BRZ. I have good leg room but yes the helmet pretty much touches the roof and if there is a bump on the track i have to duck for it. Buuuut otherwise it fits well and the seat bolsters really well. In the distant future I might have a track seat but I really like the premium seats so who knows.

I am also 5’10” and I have been in the car with several helmets while trying them on as my old SA2005 helmet I used in a past life has aged out. They all fit in the car fine enough for me, though the bulkier ones did feel bigger in the car. I have the seat almost but not all the way down.

I notice if I have the visor open on the helmet I ended up with it will hit when I look out the driver window, but it’s a non issue when the visor is down on track.

Also if you’re looking to buy, the GR86 comes with a discount to buy a G Force helmet, I think you use your vin in their online store. They didn’t fit for me when I tried them on, but may be something worth considering if they work for you.

I’m 5’10”. I have the seat most of the way down low but fairly upright, and I have enough room for a helmet.

My 6’2” buddy sat in the car to see how he’d fit in one of the twins for autocross and it was a no-go. To fit the helmet, he’d have to be reclined more than he likes.

I wonder if I have an abnormally long torso lol.

I’ve got shorter than average legs for my height, so you’re describing me too!

Maybe it has something to do with that close-to-the-wheel seating position you mentioned. I’ve got the seat low and my left leg extends nearly straight when I put the clutch to the floor. If I move much further back, working the clutch will get awkward.

Looking at your pic and judging seat height by looking at the door armrest and the bottom of the wheel, it seems like your seat might be a little higher than mine. I said I’ve got room for a helmet, but it’s not by much. If I crank up a couple of notches, I’d likely be rubbing the headliner.

I have the seat adjusted all the way down. Maybe the back is a little more forward than yours?

6’3”, seat is all the way down and 1 click forward of all the way back. I lean the seat back a little bit further while on track just for additional helmet clearance, though even with the seatback more upright the helmet only lightly brushed against the headliner at most. I did also need the 55mm spacer in order to have proper positioning on the steering wheel.

I'm 6'2" and I'm almost brushing my head on the roof without a helmet. If I have my hair in a top-knot it hits the roof. That said, I have my seat very upright currently to see if the seat is nicer to my back in this position. When I was reclined more, I think was hunching to reach the wheel and shifter and it my back did not appreciate it. Maybe I just have T-Rex arms. Finding the right seat position has been a much more a struggle then I'm used in this car. I can't seem to find the balance between distance from the pedals and distance to the wheel/shifter

Head touches the headliner with helmet, badly, worse than the 1st gen car actually. I’m ok without the helmet on. It’s the only downside to this car…a fixed seat mount and bucket seat helps but not everyone wants to do that. The GR Corolla is going to be a great option for taller people.

6'0". No issues that I noticed at last track day.

Def check the front lever to make sure your seat is all the way down though. I've noticed a couple times that I was sitting high, and it's because I tried to adjust the seat recline and had accidentally raised the seat lol
