I just got done installing catted headers, and overpipe/front pipe ultra quiet version from JDL.

The OP/FP combo uses a v/clamp to join those 2 pieces and I'm not certain they are aligned at the clamp. First time I hooked it up and gave it a test start, I slid under and felt hot air at the clamp right away.

After an hour of adjusting I think its all aligned but not 100% since I can't see it. I didn't feel hot air and don't smell exhaust fumes in the cabin. Any other clues to an exhaust leak?

Idle is really quiet with slight subie rumble until I start driving.

I once had a leak between mid pipe and the muffler, it was the gasket and I could tell because of the soot that built up around the gasket.

yeah, easiest way with v-bands if you cant feel it or smell it is the soot.

2.5" all the way through with HKS spec-L catback. Overall, not too loud so that should keep the neighbors happy. There's an FRS down the street from me that's way louder.

I swore I had a leak for a while. The lighter weight, thinner walled headers just let more valvetrain noise through. You get to hear even more clatter, especially at low speed.
