Hey everyone, I actually don’t live in LA proper, I’m in Pasadena, but most people know LA geographically better 😊
I’m looking to get back into a sportscar after a 10 year break while I went through school. I’ve owned 3 RX7’s in the past, and while I’d love to get an FD, they’re very hard to find at this point not all trashed. The GR86 is the only modern car that I think is similar overall. Lightweight and RWD with manual transmission is an impossible combo to find in a new car. The new Z car is a Nissan and their quality is shit for a while now, I’m not interested in their Rubbermaid interior with questionable engine reliability, not to mention they’re bloated pigs. This leaves me at the GR86, which looks very promising for what I enjoy doing.
I know everyone else considering the GR86 is likely of similar mindset. Crossing my fingers I can get an allotment with my local dealer and don’t have to travel far to find one without paying an ADM!
