Here is a picture of my baby! 2017 86 I absolutely love driving her.
Things I've done to the car:
Valenti Tail lights Black edition
Grimmspeed Cold air intake
MXP Comp RS Catback exhaust
72

Hoping to do headers and finish out the exhaust and tune this year.

Hey @WillBoBaggins! Nice to meet you and your 86! Is there anything that you want to see Toyota do with the new 86?
@R-Ozzy Thank you!
I am hoping they stick with the winning formula from the previous car, a front engine rear wheel drive coupe. I'm mainly hoping for a styling refresh and a slight bump in power, nothing crazy as I still want it to be as driver oriented as the current models are. Oh and I want it to have just as good of an aftermarket support as the current cars do as well. Love the way they are easily customizable. If it looks like this rendering I will buy a new gen model for sure.

That's reasonable. I'm with you the styling definitely needs to be refreshed. As far as aftermarket support is concerned, Toyota bringing GRMN to the US should help a lot with that.

So to update my driving situation a bit, this weekend I had the opportunity and took it of picking up this beautiful 2021 GR Supra, inline 6 of course, 3.0 premium.
I know that its mostly BMW but so far it has been a blast to drive and the looks are fantastic as well.
She is a fantastic car. The dealer had dropped the cost of the car to MSRP so I took the opportunity.

At MSRP that's a good deal considering how much they were going for when they first came out.

I don't care for all the BMW-bashing. It's a sweet ass car!

What's it like compared to the 86?
Yeah I never got the whole “it’s a BMW so it’s a crappy car” thing either. Its beautiful and an absolute blast to drive! So I could care less what the Supra haters say. It’s better then the 86 in almost every way, the things the 86 has over the Supra in my opinion is the visibility is better in the 86 along with the trunk space. Other then that I think the Supra has everything else over the 86. The Supra has power throughout the whole powerband and the handling to me feels better in the Supra as well. Overall I’m extremely happy so far with getting the Supra
