Hi to hopefully all future fellow GR86/BRZ owners!
I'm joining this forum as I'd like to get involved from the start of the journey with this generation of cars which from what I've read sound like my ultimate car. Well, for my sort of budget anyway which is why I'm normally against buying cars new but I don't know if I'll be able to resist this new GR86. Especially so as the end of the ICE is nigh so I'll want one of these to hopefully keep forever. I say GR86 because sadly we're not getting the BRZ in the UK due to Subaru's overall emissions so we just have to hope we get at least the GR86..
I was always mega tempted to get a GT86 but the lack of mid-range torque and strained induction sound always put me off. This now finally looks to be sorted on the new twins although I'm not so sure about the fake intake noise of the new BRZ. It sounds really artificial and you can bet the GR86 will be the same but hopefully it will sound ok with it disabled. Time will tell but I really can't wait to find out
