Gotcha.. that’s good to know on the plaques. Easier for them to manage that way without a number for each car. Little less personal though. Any idea what number the Texas cars say for U.S. allotment?

I also bought one of those little versions from livecarmodelwith the hopes that my special edition car would match the number of my special edition commemorative, miniature car then when I seen the Canada car I was like well crap but I do suppose it makes the type r and demon “number rarity” situation null and void if true

Thank you! Please let me know if you remember. I haven’t seen anyone yet say they have theirs, but I don’t read all the forums and may have missed it. That would have been cool if your car number matched the model. I think you are right though, no numbers takes the rarity of the number out of the equation. I have two individually numbered Mustangs in the garage right now and I prefer when manufactures do it that way. I suspect it’s trickier with a world car like the GR86 and when different countries are getting varied allocations. Makes them more special also if it’s out of a smaller number for that country that is smaller than 860 that are being made.

Some of the stealerships in my area San Diego have received the AE. One is charging 9k adjustment. Insane in the membrane! Not sure why Longo hasn’t received mine yet. It’s THE largest dealer North America. No MSRP. Hopefully get the word soon.

Toyota of El Cajon (San Diego area) just arrived one AE edition. I couldn’t resist & took a visit before the Sales people came in this morning. This color is absolutely amazing! Color is subjective but for those haters & ones on the fence about the Solar Shift you really need to see it in person!

*For color comparison it’s in between (imo) the wrap Inozetek Papaya Orange, Tom’s build & the Inozetek Lava Orange. With the 1st pic of a Miata in Papaya Orange a lighter hue. Then the Solar Shift GR86 AE And finally the Tom’s build & Lava Orange pics on more reddish side.

Post more pics later….I literally ran out when the sales guys & gals walked toward me like vultures lol

Fair enough, wheels & color are so subjective. I’m also inquiring about a spare, since I drive to Vegas 3-4 x year to visit family. The build comes with a flat fixer but I think a spare can fit in the back or in the plus2 seats in back.

So are the rims in fact 8 inch as the Toyota.com description says? That tire of 215 looks a little stretched, could also just be the angles
