I just reserved an Anniversary Edition for MSRP today at you guessed it, Longo Toyota. Someone backed out. I have a VIN# & he said it actually arrived, amongst others at the port! Guessing Maybe 3-4 more weeks?

There is no way it'll be 3-4 weeks surely. My dealer told me 1/15 and then 1/24, and it looks like on the Toyota site now that they're estimating a 1/26-1/31 arrival for dealers around the area (except the one I purchased from lol). I'm on the east coast.

I hope we get it sooner! I’m only guessing eta …I’m on the west coast. Getting super excited

Btw so far, Longo Toyota’s been easy to deal with so far. I put down $500 refundable deposit. They have the most “AE” GR86s reserved (largest Toyota dealer), so if you’re looking for one, check with them every so often. No markup, MSRP. The one I reserved someone backed out…

My guess based on past sales how they allocated . I know it sucks such low numbers, since all 20 will probably be marked up

Longo Toyota just sent me screen shot. Looks like it arrived port 1/09/23. Processing on 1/23/23. Anyone that ordered from Longo (west coast) or know how long more of a wait to get to dealer? Need to sell my truck (already have private buyer) before hand . Thx

What city in Ohio? I’m in Cincinnati and waiting for one also. I have been told middle to later February also. Ours should go by train to Chicago and then trucked from there. I’m surprised the SE’s closer to the port in California haven’t arrived at the dealer yet. I wonder if Toyota is planning a release around the same time nationwide. I have seen that done in the past with certain models.

Are you getting yours from Kings or Kerry Toyota? That is good news on the Texas owners. I haven’t seen any photos of actual customer cars. Would love to know what number cars they have. Thank you!

Kings, and for what I understand the cars aren’t numbered they just have a plaque on the drivers door/dash side that says the countries allotted quantity

we have all seen this pic from the Canada car but I seen a car that appeared to be from Malaysia that had a different number on the door but I could always be wrong it was my understanding only 860 total solar shift were to be made in the world

Gotcha.. that’s good to know on the plaques. Easier for them to manage that way without a number for each car. Little less personal though. Any idea what number the Texas cars say for U.S. allotment?
