Also, would they fit with the stock wheels on the premium trim?
Nice, as much as I want a BBK, I'm just going to paint the stocks calipers, I just want the looks so I don't think it'd worth it for me as someone whos just going to DD this car lolThat's likely not aimed at me, but I'm planning on it personally if the performance pack doesn't come out prior.
I was thinking I would do that too, just from a DD standpoint. Are you going to use red VHT spray paint, with a clear coat VHT as well?Nice, as much as I want a BBK, I'm just going to paint the stocks calipers, I just want the looks so I don't think it'd worth it for me as someone whos just going to DD this car lol
I'm not sure yet, I don't have my car yet and most likely will have my sister's boyfriend help me out as he knows a lot of about this stuff.I was thinking I would do that too, just from a DD standpoint. Are you going to use red VHT spray paint, with a clear coat VHT as well?
there are def much more reasonable options if one just wants an effective BBK. I have a Wilwood kit on my Supra and my friend has them on her ND Miata (they were not expensive relatively speaking). The parts on RR racing for wilwood calipers are close to 2k for the set. Pretty decent.
I think the idea is that ABS is unclear on how far it needs to release the pressure in the line to allow for slip. Since there's a larger volume of fluid in monoblocks, it might release it too car and create too much slip.I was wondering about ABS. On the one hand, you'd think that lockup would be lockup, who cares what combination of braking & traction caused it? On the other hand, the system has to react dynamically, so if the brakes are more aggressive than standard, the system might continually overapply pressure and keep initiating lockup to the point that the ABS function essentially no longer works.
