I prefer the feel of the bigger, heavier GR knob. You just have to remember that just because it feels easier to shift, that the exact same thing are going on in the transmission, which means you’re feeling less that you need to feel. I’ve driven manuals for 35 years and trust myself, but a newb that can’t feel what’s going on certainly could increase wear.
