I guess I'm just really not a Miata fan as my preferences for them are atypical—I think the pre-facelift NC was the best looking one after the NB coupe they only sold a few of in Japan. If they had sold the coupe in the US, I very well might have bought one.

Same here, the one saving grace they have currently is the RF version, but even that won't sway me.

Acura sort of dropped the ball on the new Integra.

So many thought this was a prototype of it and were all super excited

The Integra is the same it ever was: a more luxurious Civic.
There's no Coupe version for the same reason there's no Civic Coupe anymore: because they don't sell.

People tend to suffer from "rose-colored-glassitis", and only remember the one-off pinnacle of something. In this case the DC2 ITR.

True, the new Integra is actually a proper successor to the first gen Integra sedan.

My mind is just clouded with DA and DC Integra coupes
