I dig the CRX! I had a ‘91 and it was a perfect commuter — fun, reliable, and economical. Driving the BRZ reminds me of that nimble little go-kart.

My family thinks the BRZ is small. But I just looked up stats to compare and the BRZ is 20 inches longer and 900 pounds heavier!

Yep, even with a carburetor (google it youngsters)…

From that thought, going off on just a little bit of a tangent…

My daughter took a driver’s training class through her high school last year, and the instructor had apparently been teaching the class for a looooong time without updating the materials. (I think my wife and maybe even my mother-in-law had the same teacher!)

My daughter brought home a worksheet that asked her to identify the pictured car parts on it. (Like that has anything to do with rules of the road and whatnot.) But some of those parts hadn’t been installed on any car built since some of the students’ parents were kids: carburetor, distributor...
