Jokes aside, I was gonna talk about the Skyline thing, but the issue there is that run of the mill skylines were always pretty lame IMO. The GTR is entirely different, and I'm not a huge R35 guy, but that car was a world beater for years.

They're good looking, have a fantastic chassis, and the Renesis is nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be. I bought mine with 60K on it and sold it at 160K with nothing more than routine maintenance.

I knew several people that had them blow up under 100k. Could it have been a lack or proper use or maintenance? Maybe, but no thanks. I also think they're ugly af lol.

I wanted to love the A90, till I finally got around to playing with one. It looks good at certain angles, fugly at others. Hated the interior. Drove okay other than being an auto, but even now that they're available manual I have zero desire.

At least you gave it a chance. It's definitely not a perfect car, and it's def like 2% Toyota lol.

I like the interior, but ours is also the A91-CF so it has the red and black. That regular all black interior is so boring it's wild, and the A91-MT tan is awful.

As a side note though, I definitely don't care for a lot of modern cars in terms of wanting one really bad. Not even nostalgia, just more about being bored with them due to not having what I call the "this thing feels like a death trap" experience.

Sounds like aside from being ugly (inside and out tbh), the RX8 would be a good swap candidate for an older 13B or a 20B.

The Achilles heel of the RF is that wind buffeting is pretty bad with the top open. If you only want to use it as a coupe, that wouldn't be an issue.

I don't notice much buffeting in the ND1 RF as long as the windows are up and the car is doing 70 or under (top down). It has wind noise as expected, but none of that billowing, head splitting you get in some other cars.
