Are you sure? I thought the GR wheels were a different style where the BRZ base wheels look identical to the Limited wheels but an inch smaller and a lighter gray.

They are the same. I guess technically the GR wheel is slightly different since they machine a little off the front face.

Yes. All colors are the same (just different names) except World rally blue (Subaru only) and Neptune Blue (Toyota only).

Brakes are better as I believe the BRZ actually comes with dot 4 from the factory and you can feel the difference.

Brakes are exactly the same. BRZ does not come with DOT 4.

Is this confirmed somewhere? C&D claimed Dot 4 was why the BRZ had better OE braking on track and shorter stop distances. Anyways, braking feels better in the BRZ to me for some reason.

Subaru engineers on hand chose to add DOT 4 specifically for Lightning Lap. Toyota chose not to.

2:17 is the GR86/BRZ segment (if it doesn't auto-start there) and it's one of the first things they talk about.

Is it worth getting the iron (gr86) ones if you get a brz? (would be a daily on shit roads)

Doesn't matter. My roads are shit and my BRZ is fine. BRZ supposedly has a slightly better ride than the GR86 but I've never been in a GR to compare.

Seems to be far less Subaru dealers being greedy/ playing the markup game than Toyota dealers, but obviously YMMV depending on location. I wouldn't be afraid of traveling to get a reasonable price for either one. That's what I did.
