BRZ in Europe update

Good news!

I just received a call from a local Subaru dealer in Czechia, that the BRZ ZD8 will very very likely come to Europe. They are finishing marketing materials and everything looks very promising supposedly. The estimated price is 41k EUR for the MT and 43k EUR for the AT. Pricing based on the current exchange rate and including 21% VAT.

I believe the member here Focuspoke already mentioned the same for another EU country?

Still waiting for this info. I ordered the car on December 2022, so I hope it will be June - as stated in the agreement I signed.
Update: Rotterdam delivery - 20th week of the year (so it's the middle of May). The dealer says I'll receive it in the middle of June.
@qajteq what about your delivery date?
I've heard two versions, one says late April/May, second is as yours, June/July.

Base color is red not white, dealer suggested June to be possible delivery date. I think we have to start tracking RoRo ships from Japan :D
Red? Are there any pictures of that color? I wonder if it's same quality as the ones you have to pay for. I'd assume base is boring white, and then "fun" colours costs extra.
It's called Ignition Red: Ignition Red
I ordered that one.

For the previous BRZ model, red was also base colour in Poland. Not great, not terrible ;)
I've drove red GR86, fabulous colour, must admit, I'm little envy for the choice you had :)

I'm curious why BRZs are being delivered to Rotterdam (GR86 hits EU in Belgium) - does it mean Toyota and Subaru ships cars on separate vessels? Anyone knows possible roro vessels name for Subaru?

You're right Subaru goes through Rotterdam, to be exact Subaru Vehicle Distribution B.V.. But I don't know the departing port in Japan. I know there is a Subaru RoRo terminal in Yokohama, but nothing specific. Maybe @Kosh may know some details?

what would be the schedule of those ships? I'm supposed to receive mine end of June, another dealer mentioned delivery July.. But I'm really hoping it's on a ship arriving mid May.. 🙏

If we find what is departure port then we will be able to find vessel on that route. For Toyota departure port is Yokohama, post (What departure port in Japan?) suggest Yokosuka for Subaru.

That is true for the NA. However the departure port for Toyota Zeebrugge bound ships is Tahara, it had been Nagoya in the past. Check my post from the GR-Zoo

I just sent a mail to Subaru in Belgium, which is the liaison for all the distributors in Europe, to ask if there's a way to track my order. Let's see if they reply...

if arriving mid May, the car should be getting on a ship around now, as shipping times from Japan to Rotterdam is about 28 days.
Wrapping up allocation for blue, manual, version in Poland, dealer says it will be available June/July.
No more details apart from that.

Did a stopover on my way home. It's awesome in reallife! Much better than on pictures i have to say. Can't wait to pick it up in 7-14 days
In 2 days i have a 1800KM trip ahead of me through Germany. Too bad i can't take the car for that :)

I today learned that mysilver BRZ arrived last week as well, at my dealer in northern Germany. Seems Subaru indeed is delivering those few cars they have alloted to German dealers in a timely fashion. Due to specifics of my sale pickup will probably be early May, sightly later than dedsin34's 30 km further to the south...

But I can visit it on Saturday in the showroom, I am more than curious how that seilver finally looks in real life.

Yesterday i picked up my lovely BRZ in northern Germany. It could be that this is the very first private registered BRZ in Germany! So stoked and happy!
