Good news!

I just received a call from a local Subaru dealer in Czechia, that the BRZ ZD8 will very very likely come to Europe. They are finishing marketing materials and everything looks very promising supposedly. The estimated price is 41k EUR for the MT and 43k EUR for the AT. Pricing based on the current exchange rate and including 21% VAT.

I believe the member here Focuspoke already mentioned the same for another EU country?

I can't post the link here it seems, but I found a shipping site that shows shipping info between Japan and Europe and it doesn't have any ships arriving in Rotterdam in the next few weeks, but there is one on 24 May, 07 June and 04 July to Zeebrugge
if I had to take a guess, I'd say the ship's name could be "HOEGH TRACER"

My dealer confirmed that my BRZ will arrive to them in 10-14 days.
I placed my order at the beginning of December 2022.

I've received a note from dealer that car is in transport from Rotterdam to Poland and expected to be in the middle of June at local dealership

I didn't have exact delivery date but from beginning I've heard about June

Wheel Tire Vehicle Car Hood

I picked up my car today.
Absolutely love the driving position and feeling. Even at low speeds roundabouts are so much more fun than with any hot hatch.
I also really like the paint ❤

Seems that Toyota and Subaru manuals recommend different oils? However I am not able to find European manual for the ZD8 BRZ. Are you guys able to have a look and maybe post a picture here?

Oil Brands: What are you running?

For those of you who do your own oil changes, what oil brand have you been using? Deciding myself between Valvoline, Pennzoil, or Mobil1. It probably doesn't matter, but just curious what others favor for this platform.

Meanwhile in Germany:
last week I signed my 3rd contract for a car. First one was a GR86, second a BRZ, and for both no robust answer concerning a delivery date....
Current car is to be supplied from Luxembourg, with a 1-day registration (not sure if that is the correct translation for that). No date for delivery still, but according to the dealer it seams rather sure that am going to get one .
We shall see....
Guarantee close to german version, outfit identical.
Manual, blue.
Waiting. Waiting. Waiting. .......

Yesterday was my first encounter with the new BRZ! Some lucky guy was parking it next to the ÚVN hospital in Prague

When I was going for some medicines, I immediately spotted the familiar lines and said to myself: "No way!" and immediatelly pulled over.

What is funny, the plate frame is from www.emilfrey.cz (the same dealer I'm ordering GR86 from). When I was specifically asking about the status of BRZs in Czech Republic just few weeks ago, they were babbling some nonsense about BRZ super scarcity and unavailability, go figure

.

I really like the red stitching of the interior. The front grill is IMHO better with GR86, but the back lines were surprisingly sharp looking! The car is also very low. And dang, the Subaru blue is awesome during a sunny day, pity we from the Toyota camp cannot get it.

Car looks soo small and almost like a toy, comparable to what, a raised Skoda? Imagine how small it looks in comparison to i.e. Jeep Wrangler or any other SUV like RAV4, X5 or GLC 🤣

That's a welcome surprise. It seems that manuals in US can be really stripped out. Maybe our cars are much pricier in EU, but at least you don't have to worry about basic functionality...

Hello from Spain. I ordered the car on April, estimated delivery date mid June. Last week I asked the dealer and told me it is already on board, arriving at the end of this month so I could have it on early July.
