So you can actually track your order in the MyToyota system? I wouldn't be too worried if that is your case. There hasn't been a single case (that I know of) that the order has been cancelled from MyT system. Did you signed purchase order? Does it mention Model Year of the car?

Yes, I can track my order. Its in the system, but frozen on step one since March 2022.
It even still says the wrong colour (smurf) since I had to change it in Sept. 2022.

I feel like my order is kind of lost anywhere in the process...

I have to check my contract if it mentions the model year... I dont bother at the time I signed it 😅

about to cancel my gr86 order in april if not sooner. Today i'll sign papers for the brz.

What can you already sign regarding the BRZ? And at which dealership?
Both of my local dealers tell me I had to wait until the cars will be available in the system which supposedly isn't the case yet.
I'm afraid they might screw up...

based on my experience: there is no need to check the website because you will receive emails for every step of the schedule as soon as the status changes. there isn't really any additional / useful info available on the website anymore, ever since they changed info shown in the source code some time last year.

I'm starting to worrying seriously for the second batch orders. I'm waiting for them to open to trade my actual car, that in the meantime is covering more and more kilometers losing value. Don't like either pay 7/8k over MSRP for an available imported car. Things are so sketchy.

i know the pain. i had to delete the shortcut/bookmark from the browser in order to stop checking constantly 😄

at least you already have an order placed which is visible in the system. so as long as you can wait you will get your car. sounds stupid, i know. been there, done that. but i seriously doubt they will cancel pending orders.

could be worse. others already have a sales contract for the second batch (which imo is a dealership problem not a Toyota problem) and therefore know even less than you/we do.

I signed a purchase contract today 🤷. The dealer forwarded the order and my contract to the district manager so he can manage to allocate a car to the dealer. I said I want wr blue and a MT. if it's automatic or/and a red car I am out. District manager and dealers know this. If it's white silver or black I am fine with it as long as it is a MT.

He said I can realize my wish to get a manual transmission car. But he can't guarantee wr blue - and I am fine with that 🙏

That is interesting, it seems that most of the cars so far delivered in this EU thread are in the Neptune blue. I do not believe the color to be that popular. Maybe Toyota knowing that the anniversary edition of 860 cars with Solar Shift orange will replace the allotted painting capacity for the Neptune blue, they pushed this color into the production as priority, before they temporarily shut it down? Just a speculation and congrats!

I closed the order with the car in Ice Silver. Later the same night I thought "You know what? F**k it, I want the car to be a punch in the eye." The day after I asked to change the color in Thunder Blue, couldnt be more satisfied.
