I sympathise with everyone waiting, I'm just thankful I know I have a car on it's way, whenever it arrives. Around 400 were ordered in the UK in April, over 100 cars sat at Toyota UK HQ, some since as long ago as May, still none of us given a date of delivery. It'll be worth the wait, and there must be reasons behind the delays, it's just really hard to understand why Toyota are refusing to communicate with their customers (only answering questions when asked, rather than sending out updates, and even then vague answers with no commitments to delivery dates). I know the 'brake software update' was the original reason, but that doesn't explain why cars still aren't being delivered now.

It's looking like the first UK deliveries will be happening in December:

We are pleased to announce that customer deliveries of the highly anticipated GR86 will commence from 1st December 2022…and your car is in the first batch, anticipated to be delivered before Christmas!

Crossing fingers for no more delays. It feels like it's getting close now...
