I’m trying to find some real life Advan GT beyond 18x8.5 +45 pictures, but couldn’t find any.
Most Google pictures are 18x9.5 at least.
On Yokohama website, beyond is supposed to have heavy concavity, and this size is concave 2.
People are buying 9.5 +40~43 TE37sl or saga for concaveness compare with smaller sizes’ flat face.
To me 18x8.5 +45 is kind of conservative, but do provide more inner clearance and less poke. Also, stock 215/40 can mound on 8.5 with mild stretch.
On the other side, if I want the tire and rims to be flush with -1.5 ~ -2 camber, I have to use spacers between 5-10mm, then I will need to use extended studs with open end lug nuts.
So far, I’m struggling on 8.5 or 9.5.
Any comments or suggestions will be appreciated.
