TLDW: He says he really doesn't notice much of a difference in throttle mapping. He's a jounalist not an owner, he hasnt driven the last model year since last year. A back to back comparison would be needed to really tell if theres an appreciable difference.

He just had a '24 GR86 PP 4 months ago, BRZ tS 5 months ago, has previously driven most '22-'24 GR86/BRZ permutations, and used to own a 1st gen.

So I think he has a better handle on the twins than many other YT reviewers. But you're right, a back to back comparison, on the same day, by the same driver would be better.

Sorry, I dont follow him so I was just trying to boil down what he said.
