It was hard to listen to this guy. After everything anyone said the response was "yeah but..." Of course, if you tube any car it's going to be better, that's a nonsensical argument. And they could have lowered the ride height to get some of the numbers they did that's why they kept saying "well I'd have to drive it" because you can't actually know how some of those numbers translate on the road. No mention of the digital screen that already looks dated either. I have a 2015 BRZ and I'm hoping Gazoo Racing goes in a different direction aesthetically because I do not like the look of this car, the rear end. And some of the lines, like the ones by the rear wheel come out of nowhere and then go into a smooth door. It's goofy. I've hear of people comparing the back end to a civic too. Really any comparison of the rear of the car has not been great. I love my BRZ but I can honestly look at and evaluate it too as well as the new car. He also kept going on about the engine displacement. What's more is that they corrected peak torque to about 3600 rpms which is where the current gen hits a torque dip, for me, that's a way bigger win than a bigger engine. I'm definitely going to get the new version of the car when it comes out but I'm hoping Seibon makes some great after market carbon fiber panels for this car.

Well said. Its more of a PR piece than anything else.
For anyone that has been around these cars long enough, the info can easily come off as elementary and very surface level. That said, maybe you can start a "improvements made to the 2nd Gen 86/BRZ" thread. I'm sure it will do FAR more justice!

I tend to go by the people who have actually seen and sat in the car and have ridden shotgun with Scott Speed. Anyone else who comes up with an opinion but is basing it on photos or the fact that there is no turbo are frankly "full of it". No one and I mean "no one" should be criticizing based on pure speculation. Unfortunately so many people do. That does the community a disservice in my opinion. There will most likely be drives and road tests from journalists probably in March or April. that's when its time to sit up and take notice. Not now.

Also well said. I'm glad we have people here that know how to properly vet these cars.
On my list of first drives to look out for is Chris Harris and Matt Farah. Reviews from them are often very fair and actual speak to enthusiasts.
