I know we all wanted a big jump in power.

Looks like the car will get some increase for sure. I wanted 240-ish, but the torque here sounds impressive. It's actually a 15% increase!

228 horsepower
184 pound-feet of torque,

increases of 23 hp and 28 lb-ft

This is from the new 2.4L flat-four compared to the old 2.0-liter

It doesn't sound like a lot on paper but this should be a much needed power boost.

Though it's interesting to me that the current car has a redline at 7,400 RPM and the new one has a 7,000 RPM redline.
