For those of you with the previous gen, does it really require 93? There's only 2 gas stations within an hour drive of my house with 93, otherwise your best bet is ethanol-free 91 (or E85, if you've gone that route with tuning).

Seems like with required 93, a lot of us in the middle states will get screwed.

No 93 in California either. I've been running a 2019 BRZ Limited PP on 91 octane for 2 years no problem.

I believe the 93 is for the stated HP and TQ numbers. It will run on any premium just make a bit less power.

The owner's manual states minimum 93 AKI, forgive my ignorance but is it safe to use 91 octane? CA and several other states only have 91 available.
