2022 BRZ in the snow? Will skis fit?

Hi,
His anyone planning on driving their BRZ in the snow or did it with prior gen? I am wondering how it is, since I live in Canada and that would be my only car. I really like to ski also and wondering if my skis (194 cm) would fit in the back...

Thanks!

I would be more worried about the ground clearance than the ski clearance lol. I also plan to drive mine thru winter. I have heard mixed results on the previous gen. One of the track instructors out here has one and drives it year round, says he hasn't had any major issues. Depends alot on how good your winter tires are, and how much patience you can muster during the super slick/super deep stuff. Im semi worried about those aluminum body panels and how well they will stand up to -40C but time will tell that tale.

I would get the best tire, maybe studded ones 🤔. The hood was aluminium on the first gen I think so I guess it should be ok! I live in Québec, so at least there isn't huge mountain roads or big storm like on BC

I always go studded, Im in Alberta near the mountains so we can get quite a dump of snow. Heads up tho, we might be seeing a winter tire shortage this season so order early!!!!

I would buy the car after winter, can't really afford it yet. Plus I want to test drive it, still not 100% sure that it will be my next car
As for skis fitting, have you thought about a Seasucker?

I’m thinking of getting one for bikes if/when I get my BRZ/86.

Maybe something like that but with a ski box, so my skis won't get full of crap! Maybe there is some roof rack made for the BRZ
