My car has 2400 miles ( drove < 3k rpm for first 1000). But sometimes when I rev up-to 6000 rpm, i can smell a burning smell from my AC vent. Since the car is under warranty, I am wondering if someone has actually tried contacting Toyota to see whats up.

Not sure if anyone saw this video or heard of this issue, but this guy’s water pump and crank pulley belts were not put on correctly from the factory. Interestingly enough it sounds like he wants to fix it on his own rather than have the warranty take care of it.

I heard some noise around the engine (passenger's side) when I shut it down and walk out of the car. It goes like the sound of a big ice cube melting. Not really loud. It is quite hard to describe the sound. Do anyone meet the same situation?
